Images and words from Beijing by a Sydney-based British journalist. Most photos were taken with an old Leica III or a Contax IIa, using print film or slides.
Lovely photographs...hers and yours. And am very much enjoying working my way through your other blogs.... I see you have some method of posting slide images. Is it a secret or would you share? I am longing to be able to 'digitalise' my slides from my first OE mumble years ago...
I use a creaky old Minolta Dimage slide scanner, which I one day hope to replace with a new Epson D500 - that also scans medium format (ie Rolleiflex 6 x 6cm) negatives ...
Slides digitise very well but it's quite labour intensive if you have a lot. A single film of 36 slides would take me about an hour or so.

Fascinating photos - not sure which intrigue me more, the places or the people.
